  Share a special moment with Piaget

       Swiss jeweller Piaget has opened the door to a shining, luxuriant garden where time has stopped in its tracks to revel in the party. The garden sparkles with a thousand fires. The "LimeIight Garden Party" collection is an invitation to share a special moment.

       Here, a cherry blossom on an emerald stem. There, a diamond rose savours the moment. On the horizon, a bird that has escaped from its cage nipples a pearl, while an ivy leaf curls enthusiastically around a branch made of brilliants. Exuberant and tempting, precicus stones cast their sparkle across the garden. Surrounded by interlacing emerald and diamcnds motifs, they come to life with great natural charm.

  The Faberge' Le Carnet de Bal collection - a Contemporary classic

     The Faberge Le Carnet de Bal collection of white diamond jeweliery celebrates the scintillating festivities banquets, balls, soirees—that were such a vital and vibrant Faberge feature of St Petersburg society and Faberge in s world in the early 20th century. Part of the protocol and tradition of great balls, Le Camet de Bal was a dance card, a tiny often elaborate, booklet, with ivory pages, sometimes encased in silver, on which ladies would write the names of partners for particular dances. The order of dances and partners held special significance, often fuelling the romantic intrigue that rlppled around the ballroom.

      Le Carnet de Bal is Faberge’s first all white diamond collection of contemporary classic jewels,combining modernity with Faberges unrivalled heritage to create the richness and warmth of timeless family heirlooms. Designed for day into evening wear, each Le Carnet de Bal jewel can be worn on its own, complemented by other designs in the collection, or mixed with personal, much
loved treasures.

2.Faberge' - Soleil de Nuit necklace - this necklace, a masterpiece of modern Faberge', is centred on a magnificent pear-shaped white Golconda diamond of 13.21 carats, its outline mirrored in the interlinked openwork diamond shapes, alternately inverted, that unfold, like a corp de ballet, around the deep collar. © Faberge' Limited

      The Choice and mlx Of jewels bring an element of individuality to the collection. Le Carnet de Bal designs are linked by a lyrical, fluid thread of line and form, conjuring up the soft drifts of silk, lace and ribbon of exquisite, ball gowns, and the music and dance, the waltz, ouadrills, cotillion and mazurka, the constant rhythmic flow of guests. Classic motifs, like the ribbon bow, or the "girandole," with their echoes of the 18th century and the Belle Epodue, are re-interpreted in quintessentially feminine jewels called Ruban de Lumiere, or Ruban de Bal, the Mazurka bangle and ring, the flutter of a fan transformed into the eventail ring, and the blaze of light and warmth embodied in the White Fire ring and Lustre pendant.

      The diamonds of the Le Carnet de Bal collection resonate with the excitement and exuberance, the fire and ice of Russian winter festivities. They tell of the blaze of light, the fires and candlelight that illuminated the stately halls and the salons of St. Petersburg. The whiteness of the jewels echoes the exquisite white gowns, requited wear for ladies, palatial white marble staircases and immaculate gold embroidered white damask cloths on which were laid out festive banquets ornamented with spellbinding decorations.

Major Global Organosations Comment on Conflict Materials

A statement by the World Diamond Council

      As has been widely reported, Mr. Mathieu Yamba, chair of the Kimberley Process, recently issued a statement that defers discussion on unresolved issues to the Working Group on Monitoring, but in the meantime permits Zimbabwe to export rough diamond shipments from the two official concessions in the Marange region, subject to oversight by the appointed Monitor

.      The WDC understands that a number of KP participant countries, including The United States, Canada, Israel, and the European Union are seeking clarity on procedural issues surrounding this release and have indicated that exports should not be permitted until these issues have been explained and resolved.

      While the World Diamond Council welcomes and applauds Mr. Yamba's efforts to bring an end to the ap-parent impasse that currently exists regarding the status of production and stocks from Marange, the WDC advises members of the international diamond industry to refrain from trading in and exporting goods from the region until the situation and the-status of these goods becomes clearer.

ln the meantime, the WDC would like to assure all parties involved that it remains at their disposal to lend assistance and contribute to any initiative that will resolve outstanding issues, while protecting the credibility of the Kimberley Process.

The Associations’ submission focused on those aspects of the law that the SEC has the authority to address through the rulemaking process. Among the points made:

The industry strongly supports the human rights objectives of the law, which seek to sever the link between conflict and the trade of gold, tungsten and other minerals in the DRC and adjoining countries;

While the Associations believe that the diligence infrastructure essential to achieving full compliance with the SEC's proposed rules does not yet exist, commendable progress is being made by viable global initiatives to accomplish these objectives;

Future progress by industry is therefore tied to the achievement of specified milestones in the building of this infrastructure. This must be accomplished not only by industry groups such as the Responsible Jewellery Council (RJC) and the World Gold Council (WGC), but by key stakeholders including the US Department of State, the US Department of Commerce, the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development, the UN Group of Experts
and key governments in the region working in collaboration;.

Industry Coalition Jointly Submits Comments to the SEC on conflict Minerals

      The US's Jewelers of America (JA), the Jewelers Vigilance Committee (J\/C), the American Gem Society (AGS), the Manufacturing Jewelers & Suppliers of America (MJSA) and the Fashion Jewelry and Accessories Trade Association (FJATA) have jointly submitted comments to the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), regarding its proposed rules for the implementation of the conflict minerals provisions within the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act.

     Under the law, companies that already file annual reports with the SEC will have to disclose whether or not their products contain conflict minerals, including gold or tungsten, from the Democratic

The industry is committed to working with governmental and non-governmental organizations to create a transparent and effective due diligence system for gold and tungsten;

During the implementation period, the Associations have recommended companies submit reports - as required by the law - on the progress made to date. Once the steps outlined in the submission have been taken by the industry and other stakeholders, the necessary elements will be in place to enable companies to comply in full;

The submission also addresses other issues including: the complexity of the gold and jewelry supply chains, noting the small percentage of gold that is currently sourced from the DRC, the

  Republic ofthe Congo (DRC) or adjoining countries. Under the SEC's proposed rules, companies would be required to submit reports that describe due diligence measures used to determine whether or not any of their gold or tungsten has been sourced from
the conflict regions. For those companies that source from the DRC or adjoining countries, the reports would be independently audited, filed with the SEC and posted on the company’s website.

      The SEC’s final rules are set to go into effect upon publication on April 15, 2011.
  treatment of recycled and scrap metals, recommending that use of these not require an audited conflict minerals report, suggested "grandfathering" of existing gold stocks and the types of businesses that would be covered by the law.
